  • 9:00-9:30: Registration
  • 9:30-10:15: Fruit production updates: cultivar selection, fruit thinning, high tunnels, fruit in
    high elevation, etc. – Shengrui Yao, NMSU Alcalde Center
  • 10:15-11:00: Integrated pest management in orchards – Miranda Kersten, IPM Program Man-
    ager, NMSU Los Lunas Center
  • 11:00-11:15: Coffee Break
  • 11:15-12:00: No till management in orchards – End-O-Fite Enterprises LLC/JAL Farms
  • 12:00-1:00: Lunch
  • 1:00-1:45: Conserving Beneficial Insects in Orchards and Vineyards – Miranda Kersten, IPM
    Program Manager, NMSU Los Lunas Center
  • 1:45-2:20: Panel discussion: reading tree labels, rootstock selection, orchard management, Q&A session – Danny Farrar, David Lucero, Tim Seaman, etc.
  • 2:20-3:00: Wild life control/management (gopher, squirrel, etc.). – Tom Dominguez and Don
