Apple Picking – Seed2Need

There certainly are a lot of apples to pick this year and this usually means we’ll be visiting various orchards in the area. We will NOT have a Tuesday working session this week. Instead, we’ll be picking apples on Wednesday. Please note the location as it is not our regular meeting place.

Our next session will be in Los Ranchos at the Drennan orchard:

• Wednesday, August 23rd: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The Drennan orchard is located at 5303 Los Poblanos Lane in Los Ranchos.

Directions: From Alameda Blvd., turn right on Rio Grande Blvd. and follow for 3.6 miles. Then, turn right onto Rio Grande Place for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Los Poblanos Lane and follow for 0.3 miles. The house is on the left side of the road.

Note: Bring some water, gloves, and a hat.
