Garden Maintenance – Seed2Need Volunteers

Greetings S2N Volunteers,

It’s that time again. Garden maintenance. The pig weed and bindweed are overtaking the tomato plants, so it is time to weed them.  We’ll use a modified knife to cut the pig weed at the surface of the soil.  This avoids the issue of pulling up the tomato plants when trying to pull the pig weed.

**Please note that we are not working on Tuesday July 4th.**

Our next sessions will be at the Lynn Garden on:

• Saturday, July 1st: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

• Thursday, July 6th: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Note: Bring some water, gloves, a hat, and your favorite tool for weeding

The Lynn Garden is located at 176 Manierre Road in Corrales. Parking is in the lot just east of the residence.

Please join us if you can. There is no requirement to stay the entire time. If you can spare an hour or need to come later than 7:00 am, that is perfectly ok.
