February 23 2pm Amending Desert Garden Soil with Master Composter John Zarola will present.
Desert climate impacts desert soil characteristics. Knowing your soil leads to activities which improve its fertility. Maneuvers and suggestions will be discussed to augment desert soil fertility.
John Zarola is a Bernalillo County Master Composter and former Sandoval Extension Master Gardener who lives and grows in Rio Rancho. John is a long time teacher of gardening and composting.
