Rose Presentation and Pruning

Join us March 24, 2023 from 10:30am – Noon at Corrales Community Library to learn about growing roses in the desert southwest.

The presentation is by Kate Shadock, SEMG Master Gardener. Following the presentation, Kate will take the class to an outdoor space for a rose pruning demonstration.  Members of the class will be encouraged to try their hand at pruning roses under the guidance of our expert.

Those who would like to participate in the rose pruning activity should bring gloves and pruning tools (also wearing long sleeves for protection is strongly encouraged). Registration not needed.
