The Phone Helpline is to give mentors and interns a chance to work together to support the residents of Sandoval County. One mentor will take a half month and up to 3 interns are to volunteer in that same half of the month.
Earn 5 hours of outreach minimum (or more depending on your time spend researching and responding to questions) if you cover the half month. If you work more than 5 hours for a half month, you can count those towards your outreach hours. You are responsible for checking the phone frequently (every day if possible). We aim to respond within 48 hours. If the questions are from commercial producers or municipal entities please forward the question to the County Agent – (505) 867-2582. Only sign up for one (1) shift allowing others to take advantage of this service opportunity, especially working volunteers.
