Plant Sale at Corrales Growers Market

Date: April 28, 2019

All volunteers should wear their Master Gardener badges or logo clothing, if possible. Volunteers should bring a hat, water, sunscreen, and insect repellent as required to ensure their comfort and protection.

We need the most help early in the morning in order to get set-up in time.

Setup Crew from 7:45 to 9:00 am. Pick up at Julia’s house (1001 36th SE, Rio Rancho). Tasked with collecting, transporting, and setting up of the tents, shade structures, banners, signs and boxes of pamphlets that may be required for the public outreach venue. Setup Crew can just set up and receive general volunteer hours or stay after setup to receive public outreach hours.

Public Outreach and sales from 9:00 to noon (Please bring your own chairs)

Breakdown Crew from noon to 1:00 pm. Drop off at Julia’s house (1001 36th SE, Rio Rancho). The breakdown Crew is responsible for breaking down the site and transporting site materials back to the storage location. These hours will be general volunteer hours unless there is participation in the public outreach.

It is a good idea to bring some cash because Corrales Growers’ Market is an interesting place with a lot of good stuff for sale. We will email you more details after sign-up.
