The Oasis: A Symposium On The Intersections Of Water, Tree Canopy, Culture, And Planning In Urban Semi-arid Regions
The event includes a presentation from Martin Balasch about the exemplary "Tree-Acequia" planning model of Mendoza, Argentina, followed by 6 short talks from local leaders from Albuquerque about the intersections of water, tree canopy, culture and planning in semi-arid urban regions. This free event includes a panel discussion, a campus canopy tour and a light lunch will be provided.
