SEMG Members – Advanced Classes: The Wonderful World of Wasps
Wasps are highly diverse and play many ecological roles. There are thousands of species of wasps, and they can either be predators, pollinators, parasites, and/or parasitoids. Although some wasps pack a powerful sting, many are beneficial to ecosystems. In addition, many species are used in biological control of pests. This presentation will cover these roles and touch on the complexity of wasps.
