What:

Come learn to identify important Native Flower Species in our area. This will be a 2-mile walk on a popular path in Placitas. The walk will begin at 10am and will be about one hour.

When:

Saturday, May 11th at 9:30am (walk begins at 10am)
We will meet at 9:30am at El Zócalo. From there we will carpool to the trailhead in Placitas. The walk will begin at 10am and will be about one hour.

Where:

El Zócalo, 264 South Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo NM
(El Zócalo is a two-story adobe building next to the event center.) Please park in the east/rear parking lot. We will then carpool to the exact location in Placitas, about 5 minutes away. This walk will be an hour and a half round trip. No bathrooms on the trail (bathrooms available at El Zócalo).

Note:

Veterans are welcome to attend. Please bring your walking stick, water bottle, and if needed an umbrella or hat (as it may be very hot during this walk).
